The first-half against the Las Vegas Raiders on Monday Night Football was the same outcome, different night for the Green Bay Packers.
The team has struggled as of late in the first two quarters of play and today was no different. The Packers trail the Raiders 10-3 going into halftime.
This is the third straight game the Packers offense failed to score a first-half touchdown. In fact, the Packers have only scored 2 total touchdowns in the first-half all season.
It's a similar trend for the Packers under head coach Matt LaFleur. Last season, the Packers were held without a first-half offensive touchdown in 5 of their 17 games.
Quarterback Jordan Love has now thrown 2 of his 4 interceptions in the season in the first-half. Entering the break, Love has completed 7 of his 12 passes for 56 yards and the lone interception.
Love is also the team's leading rusher of the first-half, rushing for 36 yards on 2 carries. The team ruled out running back Aaron Jones before the game, as he continues to deal with a hamstring injury. Running back AJ Dillon had eight carries for 28 yards.
Tight ends Josiah Deguara, Ben Sims, and Luke Musgrave stand atop the team's receiving chart through two quarters, just like everyone expected. Deguara and Sims each had one reception, Deguara's going for 19 yards and Sims' going for 12 yards. Musgrave leads the team with two receptions.
The Packers defense surrendered the lone touchdown of the game on a 9-yard pass to wide receiver Jakobi Meyers. Packers linebacker Quay Walker left the game in the first-half with a knee injury and has since been ruled out. The team was already without linebacker De'Vondre Campbell going into the game.
Raiders wide receiver Davante Adams was held to just one reception for 12 yards in his first game facing off against his former team.
The Packers have scored 77 points in the second-half this season. Let's see if the notorious second-half team can turn things around once they return from the locker room.
