The Green Bay Packers are going to have important offensive pieces on the field to face the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday Night Football. Rookie second-round wide receiver Jayden Reed, who was questionable because of a chest injury, is officially active.
Reed had already played through his injury last week against the Detroit Lions. He leads the Packers in receiving yards, yards per game, yards per route run, and big receiving plays.
Fellow rookie wide receiver Dontayvion Wicks (knee) is also active, so the Packers will have all their players at the position available to play.
Tight end Josiah Deguara (hip), though, is inactive. As Luke Musgrave is still on IR, the tight end options are Tucker Kraft, Ben Sims, and TE/FB hybrid Henry Pearson, who's been elevated from practice squad.
Running back Aaron Jones had already been ruled out because of a knee injury.
Defense: good and bad
Cornerback Jaire Alexander is inactive once again because of a shoulder injury. This is the seventh game the All-Pro will miss this season, for multiple issues.
On the other hand, cornerback Robert Rochell (calf), linebacker De'Vondre Campbell (neck), plus safeties Rudy Ford (biceps/groin) and Darnell Savage (calf) are all good to go.
Cornerback Eric Stokes is still recovering from his hamstring injury, so he was not activated from injured reserve and won't play tonight.
