The Green Bay Packers are really taking it on the chin when it comes to the injury bug.
Aaron Jones, Christian Watson, David Bakhtiari, and Jaire Alexander will all miss the Week 3 matchup vs. the New Orleans Saints. Alexander popped up on Friday's injury report with a back issue and it's obviously serious enough to where he's going to miss a very important game.
Packers inactives for Week 3 vs. Saints
The team at least dodged a bulled with rookie OLB Lukas Van Ness, who was limited all week in practice.
The rest of the Packers' inactives are: Anthony Johnson Jr., Zayne Anderson, and Elgton Jenkins. Johnson Jr. has been a healthy scratch all season long, while Anderson suffered a hamstring on Thursday. Jenkins sprained his MCL in Week 2 against the Atlanta Falcons but head coach Matt LaFleur sounded optimistic earlier in the week about Jenkins returning sooner rather than later.
The Packers elevated Corey Ballentine from the practice squad, but it'll likely be rookie Carrington Valentine that takes over for Alexander. Valentine was one of the stars of the offseason, but things are obviously different during the regular season. Either way, it'll be interesting to see how he handles the assignments of Chris Olave, Michael Thomas, and Rashid Shaheed.
Speaking of the Saints, they ruled starting cornerback Paulson Adebo out on Saturday. It's another big blow to the secondary after Marcus Maye was suspended for three games earlier in the week.

Ugo Amadi will play, which is big for the Saints' cornerback depth. There could be some shuffling taking place in Dennis Allen's secondary, but we'll obviously get the answer to that question once the game starts.
