The Green Bay Packers received two important and positive pieces of news on Wednesday, the day of the first injury report release for the game against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Defensive tackle Kenny Clark and wide receiver Christian Watson, who left the Los Angeles Rams game with injuries, are both back at practice. According to head coach Matt LaFleur, there are no long-term concerns.
Kenny Clark left the game in the first half with a shoulder injury. He didn't come back, but his return to practice is a good indication that he will be available soon.
Christian Watson wasn't diagnosed with a concussion after leaving the game in the fourth quarter after a big reception. He also was listed with chest and back injuries, and the Packers will evaluate his progress during the week.
Another positive piece of news is that safety Rudy Ford, who missed last game with a calf injury, was back at practice as well.

There are, however, concerns for some offensive and defensive players. On offense, the line is limited because left tackle Yosh Nijman (back) and right guard Jon Runyan (neck) didn't practice.
If they can't play on Sunday, Rasheed Walker and Sean Rhyan are expected to replace them. Walker and Rhyan had snaps against the Rams and played well.
On defense, off-ball linebacker Quay Walker, who missed the last game with a groin injury, hasn't come back to practice yet. Moreover, cornerback Jaire Alexander is still handling another injury. This time, it's a shoulder issue he suffered last Sunday.
Alexander had missed three games this season because of the back injury. His status is particularly important while Eric Stokes is still out because of a hamstring issue — the third-year cornerback is going to miss at least three more games, as he was placed on injured reserve.
The cornerback depth is thinner since the Packers dealt veteran Rasul Douglas to the Buffalo Bills last week.
The CBs on the 53-man roster beyond Jaire Alexander are rookie Carrington Valentine, Keisean Nixon, Corey Ballentine, and Robert Rochell. The Packers still have Innis Gaines, Zyon Gilbert, and Anthony Johnson on the practice squad — Gaines, however, can't be elevated for gameday anymore because he's been elevated three times this season. If the Packers want him to play, they need to promote him to the active roster.
