The Packers don't seem to feel overly concerned about Jordan Love's injury status ahead of the huge matchup against the Detroit Lions on Sunday. And the indication of that positive feeling is that the team has not elevated quarterback Sean Clifford from the practice squad for gameday. The only elevation is cornerback Kamal Hadden, since Jaire Alexander and Corey Ballentine are questionable.

That means that Clifford won't be available to backup Malik Willis, so Love and Willis will be the only active quarterbacks on the roster. If Love had a real risk of not playing, Clifford would have certainly been elevated.

Sean Clifford has been elevated twice this regular season, for the games against the Indianapolis Colts and Tennessee Titans. Every regular season, each player can only be elevated from the practice squad for gameday three times by the same team.

If the Packers need Sean Clifford to be active in any other game of the regular season, they still have one available elevation before needing to promote him to the 53-man roster.

Two players have already reached this limit of elevations, fullback Andrew Beck (who has been released from the practice squad) and cornerback Robert Rochell.

Practice squad elevations this season:

FB Andrew Beck (3)
CB Robert Rochell (3)
QB Sean Clifford (2)
CB Kamal Hadden (2)
RB Ellis Merriweather (1)
