The Packers enter the 2022 NFL Draft with plenty of questions on the roster. The good news is they have plenty of draft picks to help answer said questions.

Green Bay has five picks in the first three rounds that include two picks in both the first- and second-rounds of the draft. There are multiple directions for the Packers to take, but NFL.com's Chad Reuter has them staying on the offensive side of the ball in the first round of his latest mock draft.

Reuter has the Packers taking Northern Iowa tackle Trevor Penning with the No. 23 overall pick in the mock draft. While there's no guarantee Penning will be there (and it's even considered unlikely he's there), the pick makes a ton of sense. The Packers return David Bakhtiari at the left tackle position, but the right tackle position is a major question mark after Billy Turner signed with the Broncos. Turner started 13 games at right tackle in 2021 before a knee injury prematurely ended his season.

As it stands, the Packers are without a starter at right tackle. Dennis Kelly is still a free agent, but there's a good chance Green Bay goes younger and cheaper, which obviously makes Kelly a non-factor if so.

The Packers then take wide receiver Treylon Burks with the 28th overall pick in Reuter's mock draft. Green Bay needs to find a potential replacement for Davante Adams and Burks would be that guy if drafted. Now, no one is saying Burks will be the next Adams – that's highly unlikely. However, Burks is a big, physical receiver that can also move. He holds a ton of potential as a prospect and is projected by many to be a difference-maker in the NFL.

Both players make a lot of sense for the Packers and they also fill two major needs at two rather important positions. It's probably safe to assume Packers fans will be happy if this scenario plays out on April 28.
