Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers playfully threw some shade at one of his rookie teammates on Monday night after a 24-12 win against the Los Angeles Rams.

Late in the fourth quarter, Rodgers attempted to hit rookie wide receiver Christian Watson on a quick pass near the goal line. Watson never turned his head around to look for the ball, resulting in an incomplete pass.

Rodgers immediately started barking at Watson over the miscommunication.

After the game, Rodgers was asked if he was still mad at Watson.

"If you want to catch touchdowns, you run the right routes," said a grinning Rodgers.

The criticism from Rodgers toward Watson didn't stop there. During the post-game press conference, Rodgers told reporters that rookie wide receiver Romeo Doubs is a better route runner than Watson.

Watson, who finished with four receptions for 46 yards against the Rams, had been on a tear as of late. But his missed opportunity with Rodgers is a reminder that he's still a rookie that has a lot of growing left to do.
