The NFL Draft is just a few hours away, so the rumors are going to be flying around and swirling about more than ever.

One of the latest draft rumors involves the Green Bay Packers. The Baltimore Ravens are supposedly contacting the Packers about a potential trade up from No. 22 to No. 13.

That would be a big move for both teams. If this is true, the Ravens are clearly targeting a specific player, most likely a wide receiver or cornerback. It wouldn't make a ton of sense for the Packers to trade that far back, however, as general manager Brian Gutekunst alluded to the fact that trading up to 13 was because of an important reason, in the first place.

"If you look at the trade charts, they'll tell you what that's worth and things like that," said Gutekunst. "Really, I have no idea until we're on the clock and we're picking it, right? So, we'll see. But, you know, if I were to do that, I'd be doing it because I thought it was important."

Even if this is true, it's unlikely to happen

Again, the Packers moved up to 13 for a reason. It was a big sticking point in trade negotiations with the New York Jets, so they aren't just going to let the pick go for nothing. Especially if they're dropping all the way back to No. 22.

The Ravens would have to overspend and they've never really seemed like the franchise to do that. They are typically a smart, sound organization that doesn't make knee-jerk moves. Baltimore doesn't have a second-round pick in 2023, either, so that means they'd likely be forced to trade 2024 capital to even get close to moving up nine spots.

If the Packers do move back, it wouldn't be a surprise to see them move up again in order to get whomever they like most. Gutekunst is a smart guy, so he'll find a way to move back up and still be in a position where he has as much value or more than he did when made the initial trade back with the Ravens.

But, as we all know, only time will tell what happens, for sure.
