A day after signing 12 players who finished the season on the practice squad to future deals, the Green Bay Packers added more pieces to the 90-man roster. On Tuesday, general manager Brian Gutekunst announced the addition of seven external players, four for the defense and three for the offense.
Check out who they are:
CB Isaiah Dunn > undrafted in 2021. Has played for the New York Jets, Seattle Seahawks, Pittsburgh Steelers.
CB Kaleb Hayes > undrafted in 2023. Has played for the Jacksonville Jaguars, New York Giants, and Denver Broncos (no regular season appearances).
DT Keith Randolph > undrafted in 2024. Has played for the Chicago Bears (no regular season appearances).
DT Nesta Jade Silvera > 2023 seventh-round pick. Has played for the Las Vegas Raiders and San Francisco 49ers.
WR Tulu Griffin > undrafted in 2024. Has played for the Las Vegas Raiders and Cleveland Browns (no regular season appearances).
C Trey Hill > 2021 sixth-round pick. Has played for the Cincinnati Bengals.
TE Johnny Lumpkin > undrafted in 2023. Has played for the New England Patriots, Indianapolis Colts, Denver Broncos, and Green Bay Packers.
The most experience pieces of the group are Trey Hill, who spent four seasons with the Bengals, and Nesta Jade Silvera, who has a background with a similar defensive scheme in San Francisco.
Now, the Packers roster has 59 players—only 58 roster spots have been occupied, though, since Alex Hale has a roster exemption as part of the International Pathway Program. Free agency, draft, and undrafted free agency will be the main tools to round out the group ahead of the offseason program.
