Wins are extremely hard to come by in the NFL, so teams savor any and every victory they get.

But, if you ask Rashan Gary -you know, the guy who recorded 3.0 sacks against the Saints and was a key figure in the victory- there's not much time to enjoy the Green Bay Packers' thrilling win over the New Orleans Saints.

In fact, just about everyone was done celebrating by the time they got home. Now, it's onto the Detroit Lions, whom the Packers play on Thursday Night Football.

"After going to war like that for 60 minutes and coming out on top, you know everybody's in a good mood," Gary told reporters after the game. "But one thing I can say is we [are] already focused on next week, so we [are] probably going to enjoy this for like, an hour and [we're] already [onto] next week.

"We're already locked in, talked as a team, and we got an hour to enjoy it."

The Packers will immediately start prepping for the Lions on Monday as if it were your typical Wednesday practice. Gary and co. would quickly move on from the Saints with any TNF opponent approaching, but they really have to move fast when considering the weight of this upcoming matchup.

Whomever wins Thursday will sit atop the NFC North, where both teams are currently tied for first place. And, the winner will have a full game lead over the other while the Chicago Bears and Minnesota Vikings dwell in the cellar at 0-3 apiece.

In other words: The Packers will be in very good shape if they beat the Lions.

The last time the Lions came to Lambeau it resulted in a Packers loss that kicked the green and gold out of the playoff race, as well. There's a lot at stake for the Packers and they know it.

"Exactly what he [Gary] said – that's what [Packers head coach] Matt [LaFleur] said in the locker room, too," Love told reporters. "It's a great win, it feels good. But obviously, we have a really short week ahead of us and [we're] playing an NFC North opponent, who's really good as well. So you know, we got to go enjoy this one like you do all wins, but just know that we have a tight turnaround and we have to get ready for this week coming up."

"I mean, Detroit's, in my opinion, they're one of the more talented teams [and] they're one of the better teams in our league," LaFleur said after the game. "Certainly in our division, our conference. You know, they're a great football team. I think Dan Campbell's done a hell of a job there. I think they brought in a lot of good players. So it's going to be very challenging for us on a short week, and we're going to have to try to get everybody back as soon as possible."

Life moves fast in the NFL and guys either get caught up in it or they carve out a path to success.

We obviously don't know what Thursday holds, but the Packers are already trying to carve said path and that's exactly what they should be doing.
