Where the Green Bay Packers MUST take advantage to win

The Green Bay Packers (5-8) and LA Rams (4-9) are both barely breathing but still alive for the NFC playoffs. A Rams loss would eliminate them officially, while a Packers loss would require them to need to win out and need 'chaos' to occur that usually only happens in college football.

While the Rams are 2-point favorites coming off a dramatic win last Thursday night, the Packers will have had 15 days rest between their last game and Monday Night Football.

The talk of Lambeau is the recent explosion of rookie WR Christian Watson and how he will factor into the offense. Attacking the NFL's 12th ranked pass defense.

But what about on defense?

Even after the loss of Rashan Gary, the Packers have been forced to find a pass rush, and today is the day step up.

The LA Rams have had more different starters and rotations on the offensive line than any other team this season. Primarily due to pressure.

LA is allowing the sixth-most QB pressures (129), fourth-highest pressure rate (25.9%) and more sacks (46) than any other team through 13 games.

While the Green Bay Packers only have 90 pressures (25th), 22.2% pressure rate (16th) and 24 sacks (28th) on the year, they are starting to see more players step up in Gary's absence to acclimate the pass rush.

Preston Smith has two sacks and four QB pressures in the last three games. Alongside players like DT Jarran Reed (two sacks, five pressures) and rookie edge Kingsley Enagbare (four pressures) in that time span.

The Packers pass rush hasn't been a strength this season, but they will not play a worse offensive line for the rest of the season. If there is ever a time to take advantage of an ailing front five, this is the game to do it.
