"The Texans will make it a priority this offseason to improve the interior of their offensive line, and selecting Booker would be one way of doing that. The Alabama mauler is a powerful blocker with enough athleticism to handle what Houston likes to do on offense."

Dane Brugler's new 2025 NFL Mock Draft

Brugler has the Texans selecting Alabama guard Tyler Booker with their first-round pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. Booker is considered the clear top interior lineman in the upcoming class and is featured in most first-round mocks today.

Booker has the ability to come in right away and be awesome in the run game. He has also been solid in the passing game and has a lot of room to be developed by an NFL coaching staff. During his three-year career, he's only allowed one sack, six QB hits, and 25 pressure. He's spent most of his career playing left guard, but I think he easily projects as a player who can also play right guard if necessary.
