The Texans have an important meeting in just two days.

With the second pick in the 2023 NFL Draft, the Texans have plenty of options. Depending on what the Panthers do with the first pick, it's widely expected that the Texans will end up with either CJ Stroud or Bryce Young.

On Wednesday, April 5, the Texans are welcoming Stroud to Houston for a Top-30 visit.

A Top-30 visit is a chance for teams to get more familiar with top prospects. As the name implies, each team is allowed to bring in 30 players for interviews, meetings, and a physical.

These visits are vital, and can be the difference between selecting a player and not.

It is worth noting that head coach DeMeco Ryans previously confirmed that Young and Stroud will both visit Houston. It seems likely that Will Levis and Anthony Richardson, other top QB prospects, will visit Houston as well.

While Stroud will be the first to visit, the Texans may not have the chance to select the former Ohio State star. As we inch closer to the draft, more uncertainty surrounds what the Carolina Panthers are planning with the first pick.

Stroud had a historic career in Columbus, finishing with 8,123 passing yards, 85 touchdowns, and just 12 interceptions in two seasons as the starter.

Stroud receives high marks for his accuracy and arm strength. He could be just what the Texans need behind center for years to come.

Be sure to stay tuned for the latest rumors as we approach the draft.
