I think it is safe to say that general manager Nick Caserio likes to make a trade. Caserio executed his sixth trade of this draft to move up in the fifth round.

The team moved up for another Alabama linebacker in Henry To'oTo'o. To'oTo'o joins Will Anderson Jr. as former Tide linebackers heading to Houston.

New head coach DeMeco Ryans was also an Alabama linebacker which could explain the affinity for these players.

The Texans gave up No. 174 and No. 259 to the Los Angeles Rams in exchange for No. 167.

To'oTo'o transferred to Alabama after initially committing to the University of Tennessee. Through two seasons in Tuscaloosa, the linebacker collected 205 tackles, 15.5 tackles for loss, and 6.5 sacks.

To'oTo'o struggles in pass coverage, but is a hard-hitting run defender with a high football IQ. Look for the former Tide backer to provide solid special teams play and depth behind Cory Littleton and Denzel Perryman.

Ryans certainly has a type. Hard-hitting defenders with good character who can contribute in multiple ways. I expect To'oTo'o to play a role similar to what Jalen Reeves-Maybin previously played.

This is a solid late-round pick. Adding depth to the roster is always a good thing.
