Case Keenum is back in Houston to serve as a veteran mentor to CJ Stroud.

The well-traveled veteran returned to Houston this offseason after spending 2022 in Buffalo. Keenum was with the Texans originally from 2012-2014, and played his college ball for the Houston Cougars.

With Keenum back home, the veteran decided to start a youth quarterback camp at the University of Houston. One familiar face was in attendance to help Keenum out.

Per NFL insider Aaron Wilson, Texans' rookie and fellow Houston alum Tank Dell was in attendance for Keenum's camp.

2023 will be the inaugural season for Keenum's QB camp and will focus on teaching kids "how to play the most difficult position in all of sports." Per Keenum, the camp will be a great opportunity to introduce talented young QB prospects to the Cougar program.

In addition to Dell, all current Houston Cougar QBs were in attendance helping out.

Both Keenum and Dell starred for the Cougars in college, with Keenum being the all-time passing yards leader and Dell being fourth in all-time receptions. Seeing the young rookie bonding with a teammate this early is great to see.

Dell figures to play a big role for the Texans as a rookie. The slot receiver dominated college competition and should be a force from day one in the NFL. Dell joins John Metchie III and free agent signings Robert Woods and Noah Brown in a new-look receiver room that is full of talent.

For the past several seasons, there has been no sense of chemistry with the Texans' roster. Dell and Keenum are prime examples of guys who are just happy to be back in the city. Whether that translates to wins is yet to be determined, but it seems like good things are brewing in Houston.
