The Houston Texans became the first team to punch their ticket to the divisional round of the 2023 playoffs.

They are now waiting to see the rest of the results from the final wildcard round matchup in the AFC to see who they will face in the divisional round.

Possible Divisional Round Matchups:

The Texans only have two possible options for their divisional-round matchup. Both of which have the Texans hitting the road, and both would be cities with outdoor stadiums, with the potential cold temperatures to play a part.

Houston Texans @ Baltimore Ravens

The only AFC matchup is the blizzard game in Buffalo between the Buffalo Bills and Pittsburgh Steelers. The Bills are favored in this matchup, and if they win, it would send the Texans to Baltimore to battle with the top seed in the AFC: the Baltimore Ravens.

Houston Texans @ Kansas City Chiefs

If the Steelers upset the Bills, it would send the Texans to Arrowhead Stadium to take on Patrick Mahomes and the three-seed Chiefs. After their dominant wildcard round win, I'm sure the Texans are feeling on top of the world and ready for whatever matchup comes their way.
