It seems like everyone who needs a head coach is interested in what the Houston Texans have.

Bobby Slowik, who is responsible for the Texans' elite offense in 2023, and who is also a rookie offensive coordinator, is a hot commodity for all teams looking for a head coach. That is how good he has been this season.

Slowik now has the most interview requests for head coaching gigs of any other potential candidate in the league. He was tied with Ben Johnson, I believe, but after Thursday, he is on top.

According to Aaron Wilson of KPRC2, Slowik did two interviews virtually on Thursday alone. He interviewed with the Tennessee Titans and the Carolina Panthers.

It's becoming more and more obvious that the Texans will be without Slowik for the 2024 season. The bad part about that is that young quarterbacks, especially rookies who go into their second seasons and change offensive coordinators, usually have a tough time thriving again.

C.J. Stroud has loomed like a top-five quarterback at moments, so let's hope whoever the new guy is in 2024 can help him get even better instead of worse.
