The Houston Texans had a rough day on Saturday during their game against the Kansas City Chiefs. They played poorly, and they lost three players for what could be the rest of the season, one of them for sure feels like he is done for the year in Tank Dell, who suffered a pretty brutal injury. You have all seen it by now, so we don't need to get into the specifics.

This team lost Tank Dell, one of the best players on offense, but also a brother, for maybe the rest of the year. And, when the cameras cut away from the injury itself, and went to some of the player's reactions and faces, you can see how much Tank Dell really means to this team. Head coach DeMeco Ryans has built a true brotherhood in Houston, and that's very clear to see now.

Texans' C.J. Stroud shares thoughts on Tank Dell's injury

One of the most notable things you probably saw during the injury situation, was quarterback C.J. Stroud breakdown and cry. He was going through it, as he said so himself. After the game, he went into detail a bit about the situation, continuing to be emotional during a tough time.

"All you can do is really pray, you know so, at the end of the day, god still gets the glory. I always, no matter what happens to me, know that I'm only up here because of the grace of Jesus. It's not easy, but after that, I try to use it as motivation," Stroud told the media after the game.

"It's not easy to just let it go, because that's my best friend, you know. It's not easy to just keep playing. But, I tried to do as best as I could. My teammates helped me up, Joe [Mixon] helped me up, so I appreciate those guys helping me because I was going through it. I appreciate those guys."

The Texans tried to bounce back after the injury situation. And, at first, they did. The defense would go on to get a big stop and give the offense back the ball. Unfortunately, the offense would go on to punt it.

It was a tough day at the office. The Texans will just have to bounce back next week against the Baltimore Ravens. They are still a playoff team, but without Tank Dell, Stefon Diggs, and the offense they have had all year, it feels impossible to win a playoff game now. The Texans will close out the season against the Tennessee Titans.

After the game, head coach DeMeco Ryans gave an update regarding Tank Dell's status. We will continue to keep you all updated.
