Later on Tuesday, when the Houston Texans release their injury report, Texans fans will likely freak out, but they shouldn't.
Last week, the Texans had 11 players on their injury report, and nine of them were ruled questionable for the game against the Cleveland Browns. Most of them did not practice throughout the week, yet they still went and beat down the Browns 45-14.
This week could be similar in terms of the injury report.
According to Texans insider Aaron Wilson of KPRC2, the Texans will likely rest guys like Laremy Tunsil, Shaq Mason, Sheldon Rankins, Maliek Collins, Will Anderson Jr., Jonathan Greenard, etc., and keep the practice lighter than usual. They did this last week, and everything turned out well.
So, when that practice report drops, like it did last week, do not freak out. After seeing what happened last week, I have a feeling that the Texans know what they are doing in terms of rest.
