Houston Texans 2023 NFL draft picks C.J. Stroud, Will Anderson, and Tank Dell had their first experience as "brand ambassadors" of the team this week when they attended the NFLPA's Rookie Premiere this week.

Every year, the NFLPA selects rookies across the entire league to attend the event "based on factors such as college performance, draft status, position, and marketability, all of which affect trading card value." It is, after all, presented by Panini America.

During the event, the player's union aims to give rookies the chance to "learn about the business of pro football from union leadership, following the footsteps of established players who have gone through the same experience."

While the above is undoubtedly what matters most about the event, it's another particular activity that most interests NFL fans: The unveiling of the rookies' official jerseys.

As you might imagine, it was made even more special for the Texans as they picked a quarterback at No. 2 overall. Stroud is the newest face of the franchise and yes, the newest hope. Watching him rock No. 7 in the Texans' colors should be special for fans.

Joining Stroud, EDGE rusher and the face of DeMeco Ryans' new defense Will Anderson rocked No. 51. Lastly, it was wide receiver Nathaniel 'Tank' Dell who joined the Texans' first-round rookies in the event. Dell showed off No. 14.

After a week of business affairs for the three rookies, it's time to get to work. The Texans kick off OTAs on May 22nd and while Stroud's and Anderson's paths to starting are crystal clear, Dell is up for a battle against the team's current wide receivers.

Fun weeks of Texans football are ahead of us. Now granted, rookies other than Stroud enjoy one particular benefit: All eyes will be on the quarterback.
