The Houston Texans have some important dates coming up, especially considering how important this next season is.

The Texans have been somewhat of a laughingstock of the league the last few years, but all of that can change very soon. This offseason has shown that the front office believes that too, especially with the moves they have made.

Houston went and hired a new coach and a young one at that in DeMeco Ryans. They have a chance to get their quarterback of the future in the draft, along with others that can be the start of something new and good.

It's been a while since the Texans had a successful season, but the start of a successful season starts in the offseason. It starts with the first time the players get together and works out.

For the Texans, the first day of offseason workouts start is April 11. These are more important days than you may think. During this time is when we will be able to hear what coaches have to say about how their roster is put together so far, what they need, what they feel comfortable with, and so on. During these pressers, we should be able to get a better grasp on what the team wants to do during the draft.

Not only that but once these workouts kick-off, it starts to feel like the next season is really here. It's coming and it's coming fast.
