The Houston Texans have strategically bolstered their offensive lineup, a move that could significantly impact their performance. This tactical decision, whether it was to support their star quarterback, C.J. Stroud, or to assemble a formidable arsenal, has led to the inclusion of key players like the recently extended Texans wide receiver Nico Collins, who has been with the team even before Stroud's arrival.

One notable addition to the team is Tank Dell, a player who has recovered from his injury and possesses unique skills. Dell's ability to find gaps and space in a route tree is a valuable asset, especially when the defense employs a zone defense. His speed is a threat that can disrupt the defense, and his agility, allowing him to stop on a dime, is a testament to his elite status.

Oh, and did I mention they traded for Stefon Diggs?

The team's recent acquisitions have significantly strengthened their offensive capabilities. With three players who could all be WR1 in almost any offense in the league, the team is poised for a successful season. The addition of running back Joe Mixon further enhances their offensive prowess, making them a formidable force in both the air and on the ground.

One guy that many people seem to be forgetting about is John Metchie III, who was elite at Alabama. He didn't have quite the year that he would have liked last season, but he showed that he can make some great plays when needed. He also showed he can be a valuable player when needed most in the postseason.

"What a moment for him this past game," said Texans coach DeMeco Ryans after their playoff win over the Cleveland Browns. "He came up with a couple of big catches, the run after the catch. I'm really proud of him for his journey and all that he's been through. No one's been through it tougher than him. For him to show the resolve to continue to push and fight to get better at his craft, day in and day out, no one works on their craft higher than Metchie," said Ryans. "It was good to see the success come from it in our first playoff game. I'm happy. I know our entire team was happy."

With Week 2 of the Texans OTAs starting this last week, we have seen some of the improvements some of these players have already made, even if they are small. One thing we saw that definitely stood out was Metchie breaking some ankles as he dropped the defender in the middle of a vicious route.

Metchie has a ton of potential, and much of it has not even been tapped yet. He is going to be a great player, and this is just a glimpse of it.
