The Houston Texans are straight-up teasing the fan base with these new uniforms. However, that's how you do it right—build up the intensity and release it with all eyes on you.
It started with a leak hitting the internet, and now owner Cal McNair is releasing the full version of the classic white uniforms, which will be the away uniforms. The fan base was pretty split on them, but when they see them in person, they may be better.
They have released and revealed the names and colors for every uniform they will have in the 2024 season and beyond. And let me just say it sounds and looks like these uniforms will be amazing.
When you look at the diagram, it looks like the Texans will have at least one uniform with that light blue we know as "H-Town Blue," which is by far a fan favorite. Fans have been asking for that color and uniform for the longest time, as it's the same color as the old Houston Oilers and the alternate uniform that the Houston Cougars and Houston Rockets have used.
The other thing that stands out is the red uniform being second on the list. It makes me think that maybe red will be the primary home uniform, where red in the past was an alternate and blue was the primary home. It also has a white and not blue outline, so maybe the secondary accent is white.
This diagram is jam-packed, making you think about all the possibilities that the Texans can do. Now, we just have to wait until the reveal party on April 22, at 6:30 P.M.
