Houston has received some good news from the NFL less than two weeks after the end of the 2023 campaign for the Texans.

After an impressive rookie season, QB C.J. Stroud is heading to the Pro Bowl thanks to the big-time efforts he put together in his first season as a pro.

Stroud will join his teammates LT Laremy Tunsil and rookie DE Will Anderson Jr. at the Pro Bowl games. The Pro Bowl events will be held from 3-6 p.m. on Feb. 4, in Orlando, Florida.

As a rookie, Stroud threw for 4,108 yards through the air and had 23 touchdowns to just five interceptions. The Ohio State product was able to complete 64 percent of his passes as a rookie. These stats are for a 15-game season, as Stroud missed two games in his first season.

The Texans won 10 games and a wild card game against the Cleveland Browns in the playoffs. If you’re going to pick one player for being the biggest factor in those outcomes, it is Stroud.

A deserving honor for a player who had one of the better rookie seasons we’ve had the ability to watch. Now, he is the first rookie quarterback to make a Pro Bowl since Mac Jones in 2021.
