Houston Texans starter immediately responds to national NFL analyst in the best way possible after win over Chargers

There are people in the media that will legitimately try to say anything to get a grab at people, or to make that fan base mad. One of those, somehow, someway, is actually a former NFL head coach, who wasn't good enough at that job that he had to go to TV at ESPN. And, that's fine, not everyone is successful in their first career. Some people take bye weeks during their first job.
Now, by now, you already know where this is going and how it pertains to the Houston Texans. Let's just keep it real for a second, no one outside of the Texans fan base, organization, and media had the Texans beating the Los Angeles Chargers in the wild-card round. And, that's fair, especially when you look at how poor the Texans' offense has been the last few weeks.
But, to think a team will win is one thing, to disrespect them is another, and Rex Ryan, at ESPN, who was a former coach for the New York Jets, did that to the Texans.
Texans embarrass Rex Ryan
On ESPN earlier this week, Ryan said that the Chargers were getting a bye week in the first round because the Texans were so bad, that it was basically an automatic win for the Chargers. Then he doubled down on it on Saturday, saying the same thing.
"Houston, you're in trouble," Ryan said.
After the game, one that was a big-time win, and after the half, really a one-sided game in the Texans' favor, a few Texans' players had something to say about Rex Ryan, but one in particular went to call him out on Instagram Live while smoking a cigar.
"We're smoking that Rex Ryan pack," starting running back Joe Mixon said in the locker room.
The Texans were doubted, and yet they not only overcame that doubt, but they kicked its ass.
The Texans are most likely to play the Kansas City Chiefs next but could play the Baltimore Ravens or Buffalo Bills if one of the teams that are a lower seed than the Texans wins.
