The Texans signed Kentucky center Eli Cox who shockingly went undrafted in the 2025 NFL Draft

Eli Cox was a four-year starter at Kentucky, where he spent time as both a guard and a center. He logged 47 total starts in his career, 35 at center and 12 at right guard. Over the last two years, he earned a second and third team All-SEC honors for his play on the field. He went out with a bang at Kentucky, as it was the first year of his career where he wasn't credited with allowing a single sack, and he only allowed two QB hits.
On top of the production, Cox also earned the highest Relative Athletic Score, better known as RAS, of any center in the 2025 NFL Draft class with a 9.90. He now joins the Texans, who have tried a couple of different options at center over the past couple of years. I think he has a real shot at making the roster, and who knows, maybe he will find himself as the team's starting center in the future. And the fact that Cox even has the potential to do that is why this is an incredible UDFA signing by the Texans.
