The Houston Texans could be continuing to try and add weapons for C.J. Stroud, even during training camp.

Teams usually make signings before camp to give a few players a shot that they think can help their team if all goes well. They have already signed a former UFL defender, and have made some other moves as well, like signing Quintez Cephus.

As far as being greedy, it's clear Nick Caserio, the general manager of the Texans, wants all the talent he can get in an already stacked wide receiver room. They have the big three and are interested in adding more next to John Metchie and Noah Brown as they work out more players.

And, the same can be said about the running back room, especially after some recent news.

According to Aaron Wilson of KCPR 2, the Houston Texans are working out former Los Angeles Rams and Minnesota Vikings running back Cam Akers, who was very good during his time with the Rams, when he was healthy.

But, that's the big if – if he's healthy. Akers has had issues staying healthy. But, as a depth piece on this team, his fit would be nice, if he makes the team, that is.
