There was a very scary moment during the Houston Texans-Kansas City Chiefs game on Saturday afternoon.
Texans quarterback C.J. Stroud located Tank Dell in the back of the end zone on a 30-yard strike, but fellow Texans receiver Jared Wayne knocked into Dell's knee.
Dell was able to hold on to the ball, making a miraculous catch. But it became clear that he was in immense pain, remaining down on the ground clutching his leg afterwards.
The trainers immediately began looking over Dell and he was eventually loaded on a stretcher and taken off in an ambulance. His left leg was immobilized in a brace

And it was reported on the NBC broadcast after that he was transported to the University of Kansas Medical Center. Texans head coach DeMeco Ryans said that he will remain in the hospital overnight.
But now, NFL Network's Ian Rapoport provided an crucial update.
"#Texans WR Tank Dell suffered a dislocated knee cap, sources say, as doctors are working to determine the damage. Surgery is possible, but has not yet happened.
Dell’s injury is significant, as coach DeMeco Ryans said. Not clear how significant," Rapoport wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter.
As for how long this will sideline him, we will have to wait for that answer.
Houston Texans QB C.J. Stroud on Tank Dell's injury
"All you can do is really pray, you know so, at the end of the day, god still gets the glory. I always, no matter what happens to me, know that I'm only up here because of the grace of Jesus. It's not easy, but after that, I try to use it as motivation," Stroud told the media after the game.
"It's not easy to just let it go, because that's my best friend, you know. It's not easy to just keep playing. But, I tried to do as best as I could. My teammates helped me up, Joe [Mixon] helped me up, so I appreciate those guys helping me because I was going through it. I appreciate those guys."
