Tracking the Houston Texans’ formal meetings with NFL draft prospects at the 2026 NFL Combine
The Texans have already met with a handful of players at the NFL Combine.
The Houston Texans and every NFL team are currently at the 2026 NFL Scouting Combine. All week, teams will watch invited players participate in drills.
These coaches, general managers, and scouts will also have the opportunity to speak with these players in a formal setting, such as a meeting or visit. These are called pre-draft visits but are categorized as combine visits. We may have a clue or an idea of who the Texans might talk to, but there are only so many visits they get and only so much time this week.
Sure, the Combine, for us voyeurs, is to see how these players are physically. However, the Combine is for other things when it comes to the NFL teams. They have already seen these players’ tape and know, for the most part, what they can do athletically. The combination is to get a sense of who these guys are as people. They have to have strong intangibles beyond the tangibles.
There are so many players who fit what the Texans need tangibly and intangibly. So, who have the Texans met with? Well, only one has been released so far, as it’s still early in the week.
Texans’ 2026 NFL Combine Meetings

- SMU WR Jordan Hudson
- Penn State RB Kaytron Allen
- Oregon TE Kenyon Sadiq
- Notre Dame RB Jadarian Price
The Texans know what they’re looking for on their team. As far as the offensive side of the ball, they’ve already told everyone.
“We’re looking to improve at the offensive line position. We’re looking to improve our running back position as well. We have a lot of room for growth and improvement,” head coach DeMeco Ryans said at the combine.
The Texans have an opportunity to make a big jump this offseason on paper. Getting some of these guys into meetings will help them know whether they’re making the right decision.
