How to watch the Tampa Bay Buccaneers take on the Tennessee Titans in the preseason – Will Baker Mayfield and Cam Ward play?
Will the Bucs’ first preseason game of the 2025 season feature their star quarterback for a little bit?
It’s pretty crazy to think Week 1 of the 2025 preseason is already here. In just a little more than a month, we’ll be watching the Philadelphia Eagles begin their Super Bowl defense by hosting the Dallas Cowboys in the first game of the regular season.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers host the Tennessee Titans in Week 1 of the preseason and while a team like the Atlanta Falcons has already ruled out the idea of playing guys like Michael Penix Jr. and Kirk Cousins, it remains to be seen what the Bucs do with Baker Mayfield. The same goes with the Titans and Cam Ward.
“I’m saying a (they need to play) little more in the game they’re playing. It doesn’t mean they’re playing in more than one [game],” Todd Bowles told reporters Tuesday when asked if starters will play on Saturday. “But you know, as far as going against each other, we’re doing more 1s-on-1s than we did in the past, but in the preseason game, they need to play probably a little longer than they’ve played.”
Bowles later said he expects to see ” a lot of young guys out there” on Saturday night. With a joint practice on Thursday, it’s unknown just how much we’ll see the top units. It’s not completely ruled out at this point, though.
With that being said, here’s how you can watch and stream the Bucs-Titans preseason game on Saturday.
How to watch and stream the Bucs-Titans preseason game
The game will be broadcasted locally on WFLA (NBC/8 – Tampa), with kickoff set for 7:30 p.m. ET. If you’re a Bucs fan and do not live in the Tampa area, you can check out 506 sports’ TV channel listings for your related area. Chris Myers and Ronde Barber will provide play-by-play and color commentary for local/regional networks, while Paul Burmeister and Charles Davis will provide it for networks outside the area.
In terms of streaming, you can stream preseason games live on Buccaneers.com or on the Buccaneers’ app. You can also stream it on NFL+ with a premium subscription. The same goes for FOX Sports, Paramount +, or any other streaming service depending on which network your local station is broadcasting the game on. (FOX, CBS, etc.)
And lastly, if you want to listen to it on the radio, you can check out the Buccaneers Radio Network affiliates, here.
Even though we don’t know if the starters will play or not, there have been plenty of young players step up for the Bucs throughout training camp, so far. Either way, we’ll get to watch some organized football and it’ll take us one step closer to the real thing. That’s something to excited about, for sure.
