Once again, the Buffalo Bills are looking a little shorthanded heading into their upcoming matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals. While he hasn’t been officially ruled out, defensive end Joey Bosa is dealing with a week-to-week injury that could sideline him for multiple games.

The hits just keep on coming, as defensive end A.J. Epenesa was spotted wearing street clothes on Thursday and did not practice. Buffalo being down two defensive ends doesn’t bode well and will undoubtedly hurt the team. With only one practice remaining, the team is looking banged up.

The Bills have been wrecked by injuries in 2025. Defensive tackle Ed Oliver and defensive end Michael Hoecht were two key pieces to the defense who were both lost for the season. For Oliver, he’s working to get back in hopes of returning if Buffalo can make a deep playoff push.

Buffalo currently has Morgan Fox, Shaq Lawson, and Andre Jones Jr. on the practice squad who could be options to call up to the active roster, and the team also has Javon Solomon, who is on the active roster currently. There are options at the position, fortunately for Buffalo.

Tight end Dalton Kincaid
popping up on the injury report with a knee ailment is worrisome after the star missed the previous game with a hamstring injury. He has dealt with a knee injury in the past, which puts his availability for the upcoming contest into question.

The defensive line is the biggest concern, obviously, and all eyes are going to be on One Bills Drive to see how they navigate this difficult situation. It’s been quite a day for Bills fans as Darius Slay came and went, and now new injuries are popping up left and right — not the update fans were hoping to hear heading into a crucial stretch of the season.

The road to the playoffs was never going to be easy, though Buffalo controls its own destiny. It’s starting to feel like the Bills are running out of bodies before they run out of games.
