Jaguars land Michigan DT Mason Graham in new 2025 mock draft

"The Jaguars are a team that have some skill, but need to get a ton better in the trenches. Graham is a ball of chaos at 6-3 and 320 pounds, and has playmaking upside on top of his rare power at the point of attack."
Michigan's Mason Graham is undoubtedly one of the best defenders in the upcoming draft class. His ability to fill so many roles makes him a true force out of the interior of the defensive line.
The Jaguars elected to bring in veteran Arik Armstead this offseason, but the move hasn't worked out for them. Armstead appeared in 11 games in 2024 and only logged one sack and 20 total tackles. He has noticeably taken a step back, and all signs point to the two sides parting ways this offseason.
So it would make sense for the Jaguars to use the draft to replace him and solidify their defensive line. Graham has recorded career-highs across the board as a pass rusher, with him currently having five sacks, nine QB hits, and 19 pressures. And his best trait via Pro Football Focus is his run defense, where he has earned an elite 91.2 grade. Graham is the type of player who can come in on day one and have a legit impact for a team, and he has all the makeup to develop into a future All-Pro DT if he lands in the right situation.
