Now, one of those recently released players has found a new home with a division rival.
Fatukasi is signing a one-year deal with the Houston Texans, according to Dianna Russini of The Athletic.
The veteran defensive lineman spent the last two years of his career with the Jaguars. He was drafted in the sixth round of the 2018 NFL Draft by the New York Jets.
The UConn product had 48 tackles, five hits on the quarterback, and four pass deflections in his two years with the Jaguars. He also totaled 16 pressures and 14 hurries in 2023, and generated 20 defensive stops. He now goes to Houston where he will face his old team twice in 2024.
