Christian Kirk believes Jaguars can have the best offense in the NFL this year

Chrisitan Kirk, the Jaguars' leading receiver in 2022, has high hopes for his offense heading into 2023.
"Most definitely. I think that that's the goal. We step on this field to be the best offense in the league and that's our mindset," said Kirk when asked if he thinks the Jags can lead the League in average points per game in 2023.
The question was prompted in relation to Jags' head coach Doug Peterson's desire for his team to take the leap from scoring 23.8 points per game (last year's average) to 31 points per game (would lead the NFL according to last year's standards).
Scoring 31 points per game will certainly be difficult, but it will also be attainable considering the weaponry Jacksonville flaunts on offense.
The Jaguars' top-3 touchdown leaders in 2022 are all returning to Jacksonville this year, including Kirk who led the Jaguars with 1,108 receiving yards and eight touchdowns. Although Kirk led the Jaguar's offense last year, he'll likely step into the shadows of Calvin Ridley this year.
There is no uncertainty surrounding the Jaguars' receiver room, but Jacksonville's quarterback still raises some questions. Despite Trevor Lawrence's rising stardom, he didn't have a great finish to last season, statistically speaking.
In the last five games of 2022, Lawrence matched six touchdowns with six interceptions, all while displaying a 79.5 passer rating.
Christian Kirk doesn't seem to be too worried about his quarterback though. "The light switch is on… Maybe last year not being able to get to his 3rd progression, now he's able to get to that… If the 1st and 2nd read's not there, he's able to get back to that 3rd one," Kirk stated when asked about Lawrence.
If what Kirk said about Lawrence's development is true, he'll put up tremendous numbers this year, considering his 1st, 2nd, and 3rd progressions will likely be Calvin Ridley, Christian Kirk, and Evan Engram.
The Jaguars offense will be must-watch tv in 2023.
