2024 was a season to forget for the Jacksonville Jaguars, but wide receiver Brian Thomas Jr. and defensive end Josh Hines-Allen were a couple of bright spots.

They were honored for that by their peers around the league, as both made the 2025 NFL Top 100 Players list. Here's where they ranked.

No. 63: Josh Hines-Allen

From NFL.com: “A consistent pass rusher for Jacksonville, Hines-Allen was one of the Jaguars’ bright spots in 2024. Since 2021, he has recorded seven-plus sacks in each season as he continues to disrupt the opposing run and pass game. Hines-Allen makes his second-consecutive appearance in the Top 100, and the two-time Pro Bowler shows no signs of slowing down in his seventh season. Hines-Allen accounted for a 26.2% share of the Jaguars’ team pressures last season, the third-highest team pressure share in the NFL. Hines-Allen generated 67 total pressures, ninth among edge defenders.”

Hines-Allen didn't replicate his huge 2023 season in which he recorded 17.5 sacks, but he was still a force. In 2024 he posted 45 total tackles, eight sacks, two passes defensed, and one forced fumble. Hines-Allen has dropped some weight for the upcoming season, and could get back to his 2023 form under new defensive coordinator Anthony Campanile.

No. 61: Brian Thomas Jr.

From NFL.com: “The Jaguars wide receiver showed he can be a reliable and dynamic No. 1 option for Jacksonville. Thomas Jr. set Jaguars rookie records in receptions, receiving yards and receiving touchdowns. He was the first Jacksonville rookie to be selected to a Pro Bowl since his teammate Josh Hines-Allen did in 2019. This offseason, he is “not resting” after a stellar rookie campaign as Jacksonville has a lot of buzz with two-way unicorn Travis Hunter joining Thomas in the WRs room. Thomas Jr. led all rookies with 1,282 receiving yards and 10 touchdowns in 2024. Thomas became the fourth rookie with at least 1,200 receiving yards and 10 touchdowns in the Super Bowl era, joining Ja’Marr Chase, Odell Beckham Jr. and Randy Moss.”

Everybody was excited for Thomas Jr. in 2024, but not many expected him to achieve the level of success that he did. He capped off the season by being named NFL Offensive Rookie of the Month for December/January. Thomas Jr. caught 87 passes on 133 targets, 1,282 receiving yards, and 10 receiving touchdowns on the year. With Travis Hunter now in the fold, things could open up even more for Thomas Jr. in 2025.
