The Jacksonville Jaguars just received great news during the 2023 off-season before free agency even starts.

Last season at the trade deadline, the Jaguars traded for another weapon for star quarterback Trevor Lawrence. That guy was one of the best receivers in the league in Calvin Ridley.

But, he hadn't gotten to play with the team in 2022, as he was serving a suspension for gambling on his own team at the time in the Atlanta Falcons, at a casino. The NFL placed him on a season-long suspension.

On Monday, the NFL announced that Ridley would be reinstated, which means now he can go to the Jaguars' facilities and campus, which he couldn't do before. He can now hang out with the coaching staff and the players.

He can start practicing with the team as soon as practice is made available. And, the best part is that he can start Week 1, as there is no game suspension carrying over into 2023.

Ridley is a former All-Pro, and one of the top receivers in the league. You know Lawrence has to be happy about getting another guy to throw it to. Now, the offense should take a big step from last year to this next one.
