On Friday, before the injury report had even come out yet, head coach Doug Pederson revealed what the odds were of Trevor Lawrence playing against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Lawrence is currently in concussion protocol.
Pederson was asked if it's fair to call Trevor Lawrence's situation a coin flip for Sunday. Here is how Pederson responded:
"I think it's better than that."
So, essentially, the odds of the franchise guy playing are more than 50%. This is a must-win game if the Jaguars want to keep the first-place spot in the AFC South, as the Indianapolis Colts and Houston Texans all have the same record as the Jaguars.
Lawrence gives this team the best chance to win, so we are hoping he is out there on Christmas Eve.
