Last season was a magical one for the Jacksonville Jaguars, where they started the season terribly, looking like they would potentially have another top pick in the draft. But they ended the season on a tear and made a push for the playoffs.

That magical season turned into a 27-point comeback in the first round of the playoffs, which then turned into a near win over the Kansas City Chiefs in the next round. That forced fans to have a different perception of how the 2023 season would be. This season was supposed to be an even bigger step in the next direction.

And this season has really been the same; just flipped-flopped in terms of how the team has played at the beginning and end of the season. But the fan base still has playoff expectations, possibly deep expectations.

Even in a year that has been very weird for the Jaguars, a few players still get the personal accolades they so rightfully deserve. Josh Allen is one of the best pass rushers in the league, and he has had a great career season, breaking records and making Pro Bowls. But he isn't worried about the Pro Bowl. If it were up to him, he would rather not go. Don't worry, that may sound bad, but he would rather not go for good reasons.

"Hopefully, we're in the Super Bowl, so I can watch those guys do it," Allen told the media on Thursday. "That's really all I'm worried about. I'm blessed to be a Pro Bowler. Job's not done; gotta move on."

The Jaguars are one win away from making the playoffs and having a better record than last season but by one win. But what Allen is saying is something that I'm sure every fan could get behind. You would rather your player not play in the Pro Bowl because that means they are busy prepping for the Super Bowl.
