First, it was Trevor Lawrence and Josh Allen that the Jacksonville Jaguars decided to give contract extensions to – two home-grown players, or, guys that they drafted and developed, not guys they went and grabbed in free agency.

This time, it's cornerback Tyson Campbell, who has become a very good player in the league. He has thrust himself into the discussion for top-10 cornerbacks in the league. However, there is only one thing.

Campbell has yet to be named to a Pro Bowl. He is a Pro Bowl-caliber level player but hasn't gotten that recognition yet. Well, let me rephrase that – he hasn't gotten that national recognition yet.

The Jaguars, they recognize him, so much so they just gave him a huge deal.

According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, Campbell reaches a four-year $76.5 million deal with $53.4 million guaranteed, making him the highest-paid corner in the league.

The Jaguars feel like this is perfect for him, and, hey, what do we know? Campbell deserves to be paid, the discussion was just always about how much. Well, the Jaguars have drawn their line in the sand.
