The Jacksonville Jaguars aren't done building their new defensive staff.

After hiring Ryan Nielson to be their new defensive coordinator, Jacksonville is adding a new linebackers coach to Nielson's defensive staff.

The Jaguars are hiring LSU defensive coordinator Matt House as their new linebackers coach, per Tom Pelissero.

House was part of the Kansas City Chiefs' staff from 2019-21 as their linebackers coach under Andy Reid and defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo.

House is highly regarded around the league, having been the #Chiefs LBs coach from 2019-2021. He was most recently LSU’s DC the past two seasons as well, helping the Tigers post back-to-back 10-win seasons.

The Jaguars' linebackers have been the weakest part of their defense over the last two years, especially as it pertains to pass coverage. House's introduction will hopefully bring more balance, as well as a more complete feeling, to the middle of the field for Jacksonville.
