It's been a while since Josh Lambo's days of glory as a member of the Jacksonville Jaguars. The veteran kicker has made only eight field goal attempts since 2020 and went 0-of-3 in 2021.

But the former second-team All-Pro had a solid five-year run to start his career. From 2017 to 2019, he made at least 90% of his field goal attempts including 14-of-19 in attempts 50 yards or longer.

The 2019 season was really something to behold. It was almost as if he was incapable of missing. Lambo made 97% of his attempts, going 33-of-34 including a 56-yarder, per Pro Football Reference.

In 2017, he was absolute money on the Jaguars' surprise playoff run making 100% of his field goals and extra points.

Lambo announced his retirement from pro sports on Friday with a tweet. He'll walk away from the sport after seven years in the NFL and five with the Jaguars.

Before even starting his collegiate career in football, Lambo had a career in professional soccer. He played in the MLS for four years after being drafted in the first round of the 2008 MLS SuperDraft. He retired from pro soccer at 21 years old.

As for what's next for the former Jaguars kicker, he revealed he'll "become a speaker and author" in an effort to help others accomplish their goals.
