Jacksonville Jaguars HC Liam Coen has already revealed one aspect of his offense that fans won't get tired of hearing about

Last season was not one to remember for the Jacksonville Jaguars. In fact, the only one to really remember as of late is a few years ago when the Jaguars beat the Los Angeles Chargers in the playoffs and then nearly beat the Kansas City Chiefs. Other than that, it's been doom and gloom.
That's why Liam Coen and James Gladstone have been hired, though, to turn this thing around. And many may ask why the two of those guys, two young promising first-time people in their positions, would take this job.
Well, for Coen, it's the players on the offensive side of the roster. It's Trevor Lawrence, it's Travis Etienne, Evan Engram, Christian Kirk, Gabe Davis. It's Brian Thomas Jr., and believe me, he is very excited about BTJ and how he's going to be able to use him.
"He's so dynamic, being able to move him around, where you saw him at LSU, maybe not do some of those things, right? Where he was mostly outside, running more linear routes, vertical posts, some overs and then the stop," Coen said at the NFL Combine on Tuesday. "So, the ability for him to snap down, get in the slot, be able to run some of the choice routes, looky routes, and then, oh, by the way, you can throw him a screen and he can go do something with it. Our pass game will run through him, and super excited to get to work with him.”
This is something that not only the fans will love to hear, but Trevor Lawrence, too. The two of them, when they did connect during games, showed flashes of greatness together. And even with Thomas pretty much being mismanaged, he was still in the running for Offensive Rookie of the Year.
The Jaguars have something special roster-wise. Sure, they need some fixing in some areas, but they have some really good pieces. Hearing Coen talk about their best wide receiver and weapon should make everyone very happy with how they anticipate using him in 2025.
2025 7 round Jaguars mock draft has the team giving Brian Thomas Jr. a new partner in crime
The 2024 season fell off the rails for the Jacksonville Jaguars early on, and they weren't able to salvage it. Now, they sit at 3-11 and, according to Tankathon, would own the fourth pick in the 2025 NFL Draft if the season ended today. While they may have three games remaining, the fanbase seems to […]
