Jacksonville Jaguars' cornerback Chris Claybrooks was arrested on Friday, the second time since April that he's been the subject of an arrest. 

According to Duval County records, Claybrooks was taken into custody around 4:32 pm.  Claybrooks is charged with domestic battery – a misdemeanor – and false imprisonment – a felony.  

The records also show he is scheduled to appear in court on Saturday morning at 9:00 am.  

Per News4Jax, the team had the following comment on Claybrooks' arrest: “We are aware of the arrest of Chris Claybrooks and are currently in the process of gathering information. We will have no further comment at this time.”

Claybrooks was arrested on April 15 in Nashville on charges of domestic assault with bodily injury and vandalism.  Prosecutors said the charges were as a result of Claybrooks allegedly grabbing a woman's phone and smashing it, resulting in bruises on her hand.  The charges were dropped in May. 

Claybrooks was drafted by the Jaguars in the seventh round of the 2020 NFL Draft. He's appeared in 46 games over his three-year career in Jacksonville with 6 starts.
