The Jacksonville Jaguars offense has been one of the most hyped units of the offseason, and it doesn't take much to understand why.

WR Calvin Ridley – acquired by trade in November 2022 – looks ready to regain his superstar form from 2020, when he was a second team All-Pro.  Evan Engram and the Jaguars reached a long-term deal earlier in July.  And those two should allow Christian Kirk to operate with less attention from the slot, where he excelled last year.

As such, one player who's not been talked about much this offseason is WR Zay Jones, the team's second-leading receiver in 2022.  After Monday, that might not be the case for much longer.

Jones had one of the highlight catches in camp so far on Monday.  He skied high over CB Chris Claybrooks and took an underthrown ball from Trevor Lawrence off his hands from behind for the touchdown.

Like Kirk, Jones set multiple career bests in 2022.  Jones caught 82 passes for 823 yards (both career highs) and 5 touchdowns.  Those would be WR2 numbers on a lot of teams in the league, if not close to WR1 for some of them.  While he finished second on the team in catches, receiving yards, and receiving touchdowns (all to Kirk), Ridley's presence will likely cut significantly into his production.

But it appears as though Jones still has something to say about his place in the offense.  With his performance so far in camp, he's making sure that everybody can hear him loud and clear.
