The last month for the Jaguars has been a whirlwind in the worst way.
After an 8-3 start, and speculation of potentially being the No. 1 seed in the AFC, the Jaguars have lost four of their last five games and now find themselves on the brink of missing the playoffs all together.
The Jaguars have been depleted by injuries, as well. Quarterback Trevor Lawrence missed Week 17 with a shoulder injury, and his status remains up in the air for Sunday. That said, the Jaguars did get positive injury news ahead of Week 18.
Jacksonville is expected to activate wide receiver Christian Kirk for the final game of the season. Kirk had core muscle surgery to repair an injury he sustained against the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 13.
Kirk was the Jaguars' leading receiver at the time of his injury in terms of yards with 787. The Jaguars have missed his production and reliability out wide with their lack of depth at receiver becoming painfully obvious. Getting him back with greatly increase their chances of winning and securing a spot in the NFL playoffs.
