The Jacksonville Jaguars just got humbled, as Foye Oloukun and Doug Pederson said after the game. They had a five-game winning streak at the start of the game and looked like the hottest team in the league. Meanwhile, the 49ers were looking like a team that may start falling off, as they were riding a three-game losing streak.

The Jaguars thought they could go home, play the way they have been, and scrape by with a win. Instead, they were blown out. This game wasn't close, and the biggest issue was the offense's turning the ball over. When the defense got stops, they were not able to take advantage of those stops and score.

The offense was bad, very bad. And quarterback Trevor Lawrence was brutally honest after the game.

"I played really, really bad today," Lawrence told reporters after the loss. "One of the worst games I've ever played," he later said multiple times.

Not all, but some of this was on Lawrence. Sure, he was sacked five times, and some of that was the offensive line's being bad, but a lot of it was also Lawrence sometimes holding the ball too long. You don't want to harp on it too much, but it also comes back to the turnovers.

"You can't do that," head coach Doug Pederson said after the game. "It's a matter of whoever has the football. Take care of football. That's your job; bring it back to the huddle. Let us play another day. and we continue to stress it, our players continue to stress it."

The Jaguars had plenty of opportunities to get back into the game and would fumble in the red zone, or a player would tip the ball into the air, which would lead to an interception. Those things just can't happen, especially against a team like the 49ers.

And Lawrence has to be better.
