The Jacksonville Jaguars played a terrible game against the Cleveland Browns on Sunday in Week 14, for their second loss in a row. Last week, with a loss to a backup quarterback, they had the opportunity to take over first place in the AFC. However, they failed to do so.

This Sunday, they had a chance to distance themselves from the rest of the AFC South, as every other team lost in Week 14, but they failed to do that as well. The Jaguars are not playing good football, and in fact, only a few players are playing well on this team.

But, since the Jaguars are still first in the AFC South, and everyone else is being negative about the team, as they should – let's keep it positive. Trevor Lawrence didn't have the best game, but he did move up in the Jaguars' record books.

Here is what the Jaguars' PR team tweeted about Lawrence and his game, moving him up in the record books:

Trevor Lawrence has recorded 11 completions for 100 yards and one touchdown in first half today's matchup. His 52 career touchdowns claim sole possession of 4th most in franchise history, passing QB Byron Leftwich (51).

Lawrence didn't have his best game, but he had moments where he kept the team in the game even though they had no business being in it. They got outplayed all-around, but Lawrence had some really nice touchdown passes, two to Evan Engram, who made some history of his own.

This is a moral victory, but instead of talking about a record next week, let's hope we are talking about a win.
