A few years ago, the Jacksonville Jaguars drafted one of the greatest quarterback prospects we have ever seen, as he was being compared in that sense to the likes of Andrew Luck and Peyton Manning. Trevor Lawrence has made some pretty incredible plays during his career as a Jaguar.
Against the Tennessee Titans in Week 18, Lawrence made his 50th career start. It's crazy that we have already witnessed 50 career starts by Lawrence, considering he was drafted not long ago.
The Jaguars have had their dude for a long time, too. Look at all of the things he has already done as a Jaguars quarterback. In fact, he has had some pretty impressive milestones in Jaguars history. Here are his accolades in Jaguars' history as things currently stand through 50 career starts, as tweeted out by their PR team:
Today marks Trevor Lawrence's 50th career start. In his 50 starts, he has made his mark. All-time rankings among quarterbacks in franchise history:
– 4th in completions (1,087)
– 4th in passing yards (11,490)
– 4th in passing touchdowns (56)
– 3rd in yards per attempt (6.73)
The Jaguars are fortunate to have Lawrence, as those are the milestones he had before the game against the Tennessee Titans started. Some of those are extremely impressive when you factor in that he has only played for three seasons now.
Although this season hasn't been great for him, and a lot of that can be attributed to injuries, Lawrence is still the franchise guy. He is still the guy.
Jaguars’ Trevor Lawrence could be playing too hurt
The Jaguars have now lost four games in a row.
