It was night and day for Josh Allen in Sunday night's primetime matchup against the Miami Dolphins.

In the end, he was able to step up and lead his team to victory, but the quarterback took a moment after the game to address the struggles in the first half.

“I was beating us," Allen said. "But we’re a resilient group and we kept working hard.”

The Bills got off to a strong start, intercepting Tua Tagovailoa on the Dolphins opening drive of the game. Allen then lead the Bills down the field, but on 3rd and goal, he was intercepted by Eli Apple.

Buffalo's defense was able to hold up, forcing the Dolphins to punt, but things didn't get much better.

The Dolphins went for it on 4th and 2 on their second drive of the game, but Allen was once again intercepted.

The quarterback owned up to his struggles early in the game, but he truly turned it around. Allen finished the game with 359 passing yards and two passing touchdowns along with 15 carries for 67 rushing yards.

So when he took the podium wearing the AFC East champions t-shirt, he had the perfect reaction.

Allen and the Bills will host the No. 7 Pittsburgh Steelers at 1 p.m. on Sunday.
