Patrick Mahomes can do so many things so well. But, on Sunday night during the Kansas City Chiefs' matchup against the Buffalo Bills, he proved that there is one thing he does struggles with.
After running into the end zone for his second touchdown of the night, Mahomes attempted to spike the ball while Travis Kelce was next to him hyping him up.
However, it looked nothing like a celebratory football spike should look like.
And Mahomes hilariously apologized for this failed attempt following the Chiefs' victory.
"I also apologize. This is why i don't try to spike the ball. 😂," Mahomes wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter.
But, his efforts in the game should earn him plenty of praise. Mahomes finished the game 18-of-26 for 245 passing yards and one passing touchdown along with 11 carries for 43 rushing yards and two rushing touchdowns.
So, at least he knew it wasn't the best spike. And hopefully he can pick up some other celebration moves before Super Bowl LIX.
